What is it?

This mangrove reserve is located to the south east of Guayaquil, right by the Guayas River and Gulf. It is a place where local people extract resources such as shell fish and crabs, to sustent their lifes, and also where you find an extensive number of coastal bird species, as permanent residents. The reserve has also tropical coastal dry forest, where you can see howler monkes, and with luck, other mammals. Is a great place to spend the day or half a day.

Hiking, bird watching, boat ride, sightseeing.
