Puerto Morro Frigate Bird Sanctuary

What is it?

Puerto Morro is an old fishermen town that has left its full fishing potential for other activities. From this pier you have a 30 min. boat ride to one of the close by islands in the Guayas Gulf, where you will find the biggest Frigat bird colony from the Ecuadorian main land. There is an observation platform where you get very close to this interesting birds. As you pass by the mangrove forest you see other bird species, and perhaps also grey Dolphines, that will lead the way on the water channel.
