Today you will be picked up from your hotel and drive accross the Santa Cruz island towards the Itabaca Channel. Upon arrival you will board one of the shared cruise ships that are allowed to do navigable day excursions, and start the ride towards Bartholomew (Bartolome). On the way you pass by the Daphne Islets, where you can observe marine birds. After arrival to our destination, we will disembark and hike up a long wooden staircase towards the highest point of the island. On the way up we stop in several view points to catch a breath and enjoy this isolated landscape. From above you will have an overview towards Santiago and the famous Pinnacle Rock, seen in almost every book that talks about the Galapagos Islands. After the hike down we get in the small cruise boat and get ready to disembark again, but this time with swimming clothes and snorkeling gear. We will enjoy between one and two hours at the beach, and snorkel around the pinnacle rock. After lunch on board, we head back towards Santa Cruz.
