More or less 1 hrs. per way, depending on the sea.
Today you will be picked up from your hotel and head towards the pier at Puerto Ayora. Upon arrival you will board one of the shared cruise ships that are allowed to do navigable day excursions, and start the ride towards Santa Fe Island. On the way you migth observe marine birds and hopefully dolphins. After arrival to our destination, we will disembark and hike up along the trail to enjoy this isolated landscape and what the island has to offer: California Sea Lions, Marine Iguanas, Great Frigate Birds, Land Iguanas. After the hike we get in the small cruise boat and get ready to disembark again, but this time with swimming clothes and snorkeling gear. We will enjoy between one and two hours at the beach, and snorkel around the place designated for this activity. After lunch on board, we head back towards Santa Cruz. This excursion is offered as a shared-base service.
