About it

The comfortable La Selva Lodge is located in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon Basin, a 2-hour canoe ride from the town of Coca, on a hill overlooking the Garzacocha Lake. It is a magical place for the ultimate rainforest experience – a place where everything is possible.

La Selva Lodge is a highly respected jungle lodge that has won the “Ecotourism Award” at the Congress on Tourism and Environment and is known for its good service and qualified guides. This first class lodge we recommend highly.

What can you do there?

During a La Selva Lodge program guests will be divided into small groups, maximal 8 people per group. They are leaded by a native guide with expert knowledge on medicinal plants and a bilingual naturalist guide educated in the biology and ecology of the area. Each group decides their programs, difficulty and duration. There are several trails which you can follow on your own, but please always notify the administrator or guide of your intended route.
